Following the earthquake centered in Kumamoto Prefecture, we have received a number of concerned inquiries. Please be assured that there has been almost no impact on tourism or accommodation within Oita Prefecture.
Some accommodation facilities in the prefecture experienced temporary elevator stoppages or minor plumbing damage due to the shaking, but all have since been restored and are operating as usual.
In addition:
