Oga Farm offers stunning views of Beppu Bay along its scenic coastal location and is surrounded by a lush forest. The expansive grounds are filled with a variety of plants, organic herbs, and flowers that bloom year-round. Buildings crafted from natural materials like stone and wood enhance the tranquil atmosphere, providing a sense of comfort and enrichment. The farm's highlight is its Rose Garden, featuring approximately 600 varieties and 1,000 rose bushes that display unique beauty throughout the seasons.
Visitors can enjoy freshly baked bread and meals made with freshly harvested herbs and vegetables at the on-site café and restaurant. If you arrive around 11 a.m., you'll be greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread wafting from the café.
A popular specialty is the Oga French bread, which is baked every Saturday – so delicious it needs no butter or jam. The café also offers juicy homemade jams bursting with fruit flavor, as well as pound cakes and baked goods prepared in their workshop, making them perfect souvenirs.
The shop features kitchenware, carefully curated original blended herbal teas, and aromatic essential oils, while a nursery market sells rose and herb seedlings, allowing visitors to bring a piece of the garden home.
In addition, the farm is home to adorable animals like goats, ducks, Indian runner ducks, and geese, which leisurely roam the grounds, delighting visitors with their charming presence.
