The "Path of History and Literature" is a quaint cobblestone road lined with white-walled mansions, leading to the foot of Shiroyama, where Saiki Castle once stood. The street retains the Japanese townscape of approx. 200 years ago, allowing you to stroll along it while feeling the leisurely flow of time. The Sannomaru Yaguramon Gate, located midway along the path, is a precious building that preserves the castle's original appearance and a strong historical atmosphere.
